Recruitment

The recruitment season has begun for the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity on the campus of UW-La Crosse. We look forward to meeting all the amazing soon to be brothers in the coming weeks!

As the spring semester began, Alpha Sigma Phi brothers gathered around in their traditional meeting room in Cartwright Center. The meeting began and the Brothers discussed their recent trips to far away places or even the events of working full time during J-term, but then the meeting slowly dialed in to its main focus: recruitment for the spring semester.

The recruitment of spring semester is a special time for the brothers and alumni of Alpha Sigma Phi La Crosse because it represents when the colony (soon to be chapter) was formed only a year ago. This spring will represent their first year anniversary of being on campus and to honor that notion, the pledge class is all the more important to us. This semester represents also a shift in positions following the elections of the fall and promises a new perspective on events across the board of what the fraternity does. But, the recruitment events are first on the agenda for this semester to allow our brothers to meet the men that will they will soon call brothers.

Spring events have been released by Alpha Sigma Phi to the public.  These include tabling events at Cartwright Center and Whitney Center on February 5th through the 7th (times can be found on their Facebook page), Meet the Brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi Info Nights on February 13th and 14th along with video game nights, poker nights and other brotherly activities. Some new events added to the schedule include community service events as well as attending and supporting university sports team's games.

"We look forward to recruiting and welcoming in to the fraternity the future men and brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi."
